Biography
One third of the 2003 ‘Improv Masters of the Universe’ international tournament champs, Sully O’Sullivan first stepped onto an improv stage in 1993 and has since performed with, and competed against, troupes from NZ, Australia, Canada, the USA, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Slovenia, and Japan.
A former member of the two longest established improv troupes in NZ, ‘The Improvisors’ (Wellington) and ‘Theatresports’ (Auckland), Sully’s represented both NZ and Auckland in tournaments in Canada, the US, and NZ, and is the creator of ‘XPROV: extreme improvised comedy’ the only improv show ever to take home a NZ Comedy Guild Award (4 stars, Three Weeks, UK), and the ‘The Blank Kid’ the first solo improv format to be performed in NZ.
