Chris Cairns

Biography

Chris Cairns

You don't get booked to compere some of the toughest rooms in the UK regularly without having the reputation as one of the safest pair of hands in the business.

Chris has bags of charm and a natural enthusiasm which makes him irresistible to audiences and while not looking very quick on his feet, he more than makes up for it with his speed of thought. His spontaneity and improvisational skills have created a demand for him not only as a compere but also as a strong and vastly experienced headline act.

Chris has gained a reputation for being able to handle the toughest of rooms with his sharp put downs and a fine eye for a cutting remark. He is a regular compere at Rawhide in Liverpool and is known all over the Country as a friend to the audience but a deadly foe to the heckler.

As well as the UK circuit Chris has also enjoyed successful tours in Dubai, Spain, Holland and Ireland as well as showing his versatility whilst staring in The Royal Court's panto this year with John Bishop.

Chris is also one of the main tutors for The Comedy Trust tutoring hundreds of young people alongside guest judges Harry Hill and Alexi Sayle.
